IDLE HANDS X FRINGE WORLD
Idle Hands Drinks Co are proud to be the official Cocktail Partner of FRINGE WORLD, and are celebrating the 2024 season with two new blushing-pink summer drinks, created in collaboration with the team behind FRINGE WORLD.
The new releases take inspiration from the loud signature colours of the festival and the vibrant, eclectic arts community that gathers in Perth for the festival each year.
A super juicy and oh-so-smashable Wild Strawberry + White Chocolate Daiquiri marks Idle Hands Drinks Co’s first ever limited release to bottle since their launch in May 2023.
The second is a Yuzu Gin with Grenache and Rhubarb from the producer’s distillery label, Penny & Pound. Created with yuzu skins sourced directly from the farm in Donnybrook, the botanical recipe is juniper-forward and tinted pale pink with a splash of Swan Valley Grenache.
Part proceeds from each bottle sold will be donated to the Fringe Fund, which supports the FRINGE WORLD Awards Program and Keep On Fringing Grants, which make a massive positive impact on Fringe artists and contribute to the continued success of the festival.
The FRINGE WORLD Awards celebrate the best at the Festival and since 2012 more than $346,600+ has been paid to Award winning artists. This year, everyone who purchases tickets to FRINGE WORLD has the opportunity to contribute to the Fringe Fund by adding on a donation at checkout.
Visitors to shows at The Pleasure Garden will be able to pay a visit to the Idle Hands Drinks Co Cocktail Bar, decked out in the signature maximalist disco chic and serving up bartender-quality cocktails on tap.
Located right next to the entrance, the bar will be serving both new products alongside punters' favourite Idle Hands Drinks Co flavours and Bubble Trubble Seltzers on tap.
Both products will be served at bars in The Pleasure Garden and L’Euro Grand festival venues, as well as in bottles at select retail stores across Perth, including Mane Specialist Bottleshop, Ashby Liquor Superstore, deVine Cellars, Old Bridge Cellars, Liquor Shed and many more.
Wild Strawberry + White Choc Daiquiri
White cane spirit with ripe and juicy strawberry, a zip of zesty cold-pressed lime and smooth white chocolate grooving out in the background.
Serve in a wine glass over lots of ice and garnish with a lime wedge or fresh cut strawberries.
Penny & Pound Yuzu Gin with Grenache & Rhubarb
A bold juniper-forward botanical recipe is brightened with Great Southern yuzu skins, sweetened with a splash of Swan Valley grenache & a pop of tart rhubarb.
Serve over lots of ice with dry tonic water and seasonal summer berries.
Penny & Pound is the distillery label created under Idle Hands Drinks Co.
